October 2009
Ben is currently in New Zealand filming a sci-fi thriller called Ice scheduled for release in 2010. He is
playing an Englishman called Stephen. The movie also stars Claire Forlani, Sam Neil and Patrick
Bergin (who was also in the movie Icon alongside Ben). He is, for the first time in his career, playing
a grandfather!
August 2009
Star Trek will be released on DVD November 17, 2009, and Slashfilm is reporting that the following
scenes with Ben, as Sarek, will be included:
o Spock Birth
o Amanda and Sarek Argue After Spock Fights
o Sarek Gets Amanda
o Sarek Sees Spock

June 2009
Ben will play the role of “Tiberius” in the upcoming BBC mini-series Ben Hur. Filming begins in mid-
June in Ouarzazate, Morocco.

Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) this past March and an interview for Sci-fi Wire given on the night of
the Star Trek premiere.
April 2009
Ben has recently written an Easter song titled "The Third Day" with Bulgarian singer Vasil Petrov,
which has just made its debut on a local jazz radio station in Bulgaria. A final version will be
released on Vasil's latest album and will include a church choir. Listen to the entire track below:
